- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg in a large bowl. Stir gently until everything comes together into a thick, sticky dough.
- Place powdered sugar in a small bowl. Scoop about one tablespoon of dough and drop it into the powdered sugar. Roll it around until completely coated.
- Place the sugar-coated dough balls on your prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies look set around the edges but still soft in the center.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
Notes
Thaw the Cool Whip completely before using. Don't overmix the dough. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
