Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds green grapes, seedless, washed and dried
  • 2 pounds red grapes, seedless, washed and dried
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream, full-fat
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, pure preferred
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, for topping
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted if desired

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly, removing any bruised or damaged ones.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold the dried grapes into the cream mixture gently to coat them without crushing.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and prepare the topping.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and chopped pecans, then sprinkle over the top of the salad.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Always soften cream cheese properly to avoid lumps. Toast pecans for enhanced flavor. Don't skip the chilling time for best results. Use the freshest grapes available.
