Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumi
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4-6 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup garlic sauce or mayo

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken by combining minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook the marinated chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
  4. Assemble the wraps by spreading garlic sauce or mayo on the tortilla, adding lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, and onions. Fold and roll tightly.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the pan while cooking the chicken. Use fresh tortillas for the best texture. Customize toppings as desired.
